Cara Silvia, what model is your Mac? Year, operating system, etc.?
I have been using Macs for many years (since 2004) in parallel with Windows computers, and I've experienced with different virtual environments, called 
virtual machines or VMsSdl Trados Studio Machine Translation
to run the Windows operating system and Windows-based programs.Let me know!
